Republican filibuster of health care reform broken!

The 60-39 vote cleared the way for a bruising, full-scale debate beginning after Thanksgiving on the legislation, which is designed to extend coverage to roughly 31 million who lack it, crack down on insurance company practices that deny or dilute benefits and curtail the growth of spending on medical care nationally.

Not even one Republican was in favor of even debating those things. Who do they represent?

Why are the GOP so opposed to healthy Americans?
1) They are being paid off by the healthcare industry. Follow the money.
2) They know it will become another 3rd rail of US government - like social security and medicare. Touch it and you die! How ironic that ont of thier mantras is "don't touch my Medicare" which is a pure one payer plan.
